Endure the undesirable

We frequently feel overwhelmed, but never take the time to figure out why.

We are living a life that’s filled up with past regrets, distracted present, and thoughts about an uncertain future.

It’s so difficult to spend a day without worrying about anything.

After, I passed high school

I chose the task that would enhance my life quality, among many others.

And that was
Making money

I avoided getting a job by borrowing money from my mom to start a business.

• Sold a physical journal
• Sold clothes online
• Stock trading

But, I failed badly at this.

I was ignoring the fact that I had to take halts in my life to reach my final destination.

To get where we want, we must endure the undesirable.

Thus, I knew

I have to do a job.

I began looking for an internship and joined a company for basic pay, which later became a part-time job.

Those salaries help me to pay my bills and never rush the creative process.

Because success demands:
• Consistency
• Time
• Effort
• Patience

This is not something I wish to continue.

So, here are the steps that I am taking to build my second source of income.

This can help u make money by following your passion:

1. Focus on fundamentals

The task is to pick up a hard skill that you can teach/ provide services to others.

Soft skills can help you grow your audience, but it takes a lot of time to monetize those accounts.

Now start working on building the base.

The stronger the base, the taller buildings you can build on it.

2. Focus on ability-based goals

   
   When I started creating content on Twitter, I was focusing mostly on things that weren’t in my control like
   
   • No. of followers gained
   • How many people unfollowed me

Which eventually led to a degradation in my output, I.e. content

Shift your attention from the vanity metrics towards the lever-moving tasks like:

• No. of lead magnets, you are going to create
• No. of content that you will post everyday

Focus on lever-moving tasks, not mind-draining ones.

3. Excel to create an impact in your industry

   Fundamentals get you started and upskilling yourself keeps you going.
   It can be through:
   • Courses
   • Self-education
   
   The choice is yours.

4. Make time for it
   Nothing worthwhile comes easily. The more reps you do, the stronger you will get.
   
   Also, set out at least three hours for the talent you are studying or hope to monetize in the future.
   

5. Visualise

   You will never achieve a goal, no matter how hard you strive for it if your prevailing thought is against it.

   Because thoughts lead to action, which eventually bears fruit.
   

   Visualize your dreams turning into reality in the morning, and before going to bed
